Halloween-inspired collages

three halloween-themed postcards

Yes, Halloween is over and done, but before too much time passes, I want to post a few photos of some collage postcards I made and sent off to postal pen-friends. I've never made Halloween-inspired collages before but thought that this year I would attempt it!

The first lucky find was an old US postcard with an orange-colored building. It was a hospital in New Jersey. I wonder if it's still there. I also had some lovely bird stickers that I thought would work well.

Wouldn't that be interesting (and sad) if that hospital was haunted? I figured I should add some jack-o-lanterns to keep the bad spirits away.

Finding the orange board game piece was also lucky. Orange is not my favorite color and so I don't hold on to much orange of anything. The owl fits right along.

I enjoyed making these. Hopefully the recipients enjoyed receiving them!
