Some amazing zines

The last swap of the year is over and I have mailed out some amazing zines to 56 participants!

My dining room table turns into organized chaos when I start swapping. It’s super important to keep envelopes and contents very organized so I don’t make any mistakes with giving someone too many or not enough. Then I need to make sure I have a return address and that everything fits properly in the return envelope.

I wanted to take more pictures, but it’s a lot of extra work to do so. Many times I forgot to take pictures when I pulled a new set of zines out of an envelope. Then when I did remember to take a photo, I forgot to write down the name of the person who made the zine (sigh).

Anyway, here are photos of some of the zines . I so enjoyed seeing everyone’s work!

And here are what the envelopes looked like, that I sent out. I had so much fun decorating these.

WOW. Truly works of art. I regret not participating as I don’t now have my grubby hands on those beauties but life got in the way this time. Will make every effort to participate next time. Thanks for your beautiful generosity in making these opportunities available for true artists…and wanna be’s like me 🙂

I want to thank you for inspiring me during these Covid days to make art in the form of zines for
Christmas cards. I’ve made 25 and each one as I made them was my favorite. 200 little pages…so much fun! Can’t wait for the new year to begin my Collage Weekly Planner. I had my husband hide it from me as soon as it came in the mail, for my special Christmas gift.
