We’re already heading into the fifth week in January, and I’ve come across some amazing weekly assignments people are posting online.
If you aren’t familiar with the weekly collage-art challenges, I provide 5 prompts and a bonus prompt every week, and people look for those things in their paper stash that they then use to make a collage. Assignments are posted here on my website, under the “Assignments” tab on the main menu. I also created a planner/gluebook with all 52 assignments for the year.
I am constantly amazed at the cool papers people use to create unique collages. Each assignment has a hashtag so that if someone posts a photo of what they’ve created, it’s labeled and others can find it. On Instagram, here are some awesome examples:

Some people create their collages in their own gluebooks, or even on something like a Rolodex card. Don’t you love Rolodex art?

Here’s a short time-lapse video I created of how I put together my assignment for week 4.
What kind of glue is recommended for gluebook collages?
Hi Janice, You can use what ever glue you’d like, but I recommend glue sticks. They are easy to use and inexpensive. I don’t have a particular brand.
