For the first exchange in 2022, you are invited to swap Rolodex art cards with us! If you’re ready to sign up, the button will take you there.
If you’d like more information, read on.
The swap is open from Jan 1 through February 28, 2022, which is a few weeks later than the typical swap window of one and a half months. I wanted to give everyone a couple of extra weeks to get cards in.
There is no particular subject, but keep in mind that at least a third of your papers must be vintage or “vintage inspired”.
Rolodex cards made by the Rolodex company tend to be rather thin. I recommend that you double them up to make the card thicker before you start working on them.
Avoid using bumpy embellishments like buttons, paper clips, brads, beads, etc. Ribbon or sewing is fine. Try to keep your cards as flat as possible. Collaging with paper is best.
If you can squeeze in your name (or initials) and date, please do.
If you are interested in finding the sheets of rotary cards, you can buy a box from the office supply company Avery who manufactures them. Amazon sells them.
If you’d like just a few sheets for making enough cards to exchange, I am selling blank sets in my shop through January:
I’ve made a rather lengthy video with details about the swap. I cover what it is we are exchanging, how many, how to mail them in, etc.
When you’re ready, sign up for the exchange!
