Last week I was in the sewing store and found some discounted material that jumped out at me as potential mesh-bag material.

It has a little scene and then some lovely bordering patterns that would work well for the top of a bag.

After I unraveled some of the material from the bolt I saw that there were directions for making a small purse, as for a child.

Wouldn’t that be something cute for V, I thought. That’s pretty clever to make a panel this way. I bought two pieces. One for the mesh bag, and one to make a purse for V. It’s on my list of “to-do”.
