What might be stopping you right now from living your creative life?
If you’re here, you probably love the idea of making art, but something keeps getting in the way. Maybe you…
Don’t know where to start (you’ve watched YouTube videos but still feel stuck)
Have too many supplies or too many ideas and don’t know how to focus
Feel overwhelmed by scraps piling up and projects unfinished
Think you need to draw and paint like Rembrandt to be creative
Wish you had more confidence in your art and your abilities
Think there isn’t enough time to make something meaningful
Long for encouragement, accountability, and a community that “gets you”
Every artist faces these feelings. The difference comes when you have a place that supports you, guides you, and helps you find joy in the process.
Hi, I’m Margarete.
I’m a collage artist, vintage paper lover, and firm believer that everyone is creative, even if life got in the way for a while.
I created the Vintage & Collage Club as a welcoming space for people just like you. People who want to explore their creativity again, with joy, ease, and heart.
Whether you’re new to art or just finding your way back, you’re in the right place.

is your space to rediscover your spark, find inspiration, and remember why creating feels so good.
Inside you’ll find guidance, connection, and encouragement that make it easy to love what you create.
Where confidence grows with every cut, paste, and page you make because each small step builds momentum.
Why the club works:
Because creativity isn’t meant to be done alone. When you have:
Guidance → Tutorials and challenges that give you direction without limiting your freedom
Accountability → A group that helps you keep showing up, even when you feel uninspired
Community → People who cheer for your progress and share ideas generously
Encouragement → A teacher who believes you already are creative and helps you prove it to yourself
That combination makes the difference between feeling stuck and thriving as a creative.

In Case We’ve Just Met:
I’m Margarete Miller and I’ll be your a collage and vintage guide.
I fell in to collage art after creating lots of journals and wanting to fill them up with art. My junk journals always contain vintage papers and ephemera, so it was only natural that my collage art would contain those things as well.
When I couldn’t find enough authentic vintage ephemera, I began going through my collection of vintage papers to share digitally with others who had a similar interest in creating beautiful collage pieces and gluebooks using timeless vintage ephemera.

At the beginning of every month, you will receive a link to the latest magazine, which you can print at home, or read online. The magazine will contain the theme and projects for the month, lots of photos as examples and inspiration, and you’ll be ready to create.
The themed monthly meet happens the first Friday of the month. The sign up for participating in art exchanges opens on the 8th of every month.
We meet a couple of times during the month, which are totally voluntary, and then exchange sign up closes on the 23rd of the month. The last week is set aside to mail out exchanges before we start with something new in the next month. -
The monthly magazines contain printable vintage elements that you can cut out and use. Every month you receive sets of printable images that you can use in the themed project we are working on.
Additionally, since this a club that focuses on “vintage” there will be a lot of discussion and resources to help you get more vintage ephemera if you would like. -
One of the great things about collage is that it’s flexible for people who don’t have a lot of time. You can lay papers out and then walk away, coming back to it later when you have another block of time in your day.
You don’t have to worry about paint drying or moving a wet canvas so that no one touches it. The only thing you have to remember is to put the cap back on your glue stick!

No, no experience necessary, just a curiosity and a willingness to try collage.
The projects are there to entice you to participate and try something that might be new. You can choose to exchange your art or keep it for yourself.

Communication for the Vintage & Collage Club mainly takes place in a private online community. This platform is run by Mighty Networks, which has a robust network for building community. And it contains no distracting ads!
There is a well-built mobile app, which is very user friendly. This comes in handy especially since most people take pictures of their art with their phone.
