The Vintage & Collage Club
For vintage enthusiasts
who love to create collage art
Your monthly invitation to create with confidence
The problem
You love the idea of creating with vintage paper—but every time you sit down to make something, you're not sure where to start.
Maybe you're collecting beautiful ephemera but afraid to “waste” it.
Maybe you feel unsure about your artistic abilities, or you’ve tried making collages but feel like they’re just... not working.
You want to make meaningful art, but perfectionism, doubt, and lack of direction are getting in your way.
The solution
Each month, you’ll receive a guided project that gives you a clear starting point, kind encouragement, and inspiring prompts using vintage materials you’ll love.
No talent required—just your willingness to try, experiment, and enjoy the process.
As you keep showing up, you’ll not only see your skills grow—you’ll also start to feel that deep creative satisfaction you’ve been craving.

What some of our members say
I adore this group. I appreciate my membership as it provides me with a way to meet new people, learn new skills, and have fun with others doing something I enjoy. I did not find anything too difficult. Thank you Margarete for everything you do.
-Renee W
I think the membership is wonderful. Really supportive and encouraging members who comment on and/or cheer your work. It's so fun to see other people's work, how they interpret the challenges/projects, all the side projects they work on (their own weekly/monthly themed work). The monthly magazine is full of great stuff. I am so thankful for the community you have created!
-Jennifer D
This is the only membership I have actually completed month after month. I was slow going but now I'm totally hooked. I love the sense of community that you provide. It's so lifting and welcoming of everyone's work. Thank you.

Collage Art Basics
My foundations course is designed to give beginners everything they need to collage with confidence. For more experienced artists, it’s a great refresher, taking you back through the basics to strengthen and enhance your existing skills.
Get lots of hands-on practice with 10 collage-centric lessons, and finish with a gluebook filled with art!
Hi,
I’m Margarete Miller
I fell in to collage art after creating lots of journals and wanting to fill them up with art. My junk journals always contain vintage papers and ephemera, so it was only natural that my collage art would contain those things as well.
When I couldn’t find enough authentic vintage ephemera, I began going through my collection of vintage papers to share digitally with others who had a similar interest in creating beautiful collage pieces and gluebooks using timeless vintage ephemera.

At the beginning of every month, you will receive a link to the latest magazine, which you can print at home, or read online. The magazine will contain the theme and projects for the month, lots of photos as examples and inspiration, and you’ll be ready to create.
The themed monthly meet will happen around the 8th of the month (on a week day), and that is when signup will open for participating in the art swap, if you are interested.
The last week is set aside to mail out art if exchanging. -
The monthly magazines contain printable vintage elements that you can cut out and use. For example, there is the “Take3” challenge where three vintage inspired images are provided, and you are asked to create a collage with them.
Additionally, since this a club that focuses on “vintage” there will be a lot of discussion and resources to help you get more vintage ephemera if you would like. -
Communication for the Vintage & Collage Club mainly takes place on my community platform called The Collage Art Collective. This platform is run by Mighty Networks, which has a robust network for building community. And it contains no distracting ads!
There is a well-built mobile app, which is very user friendly. This comes in handy especially since most people take pictures of their art with their phone.
-
Yes, you can. The price you join at is fixed at that rate, however, so if you decide to leave and then want to return to participate in a different project some months later, it could be that the price has increased.
The Community
A private app to connect, without the distraction of off-topic posts or annoying ads!
Neatly organized like rooms in a clubhouse, with spaces for different projects and interests.
Live co-working sessions where we meet and talk about the project, and then get to work.
