Some of the things that make V happy are hair ribbons. We found some very bright, colorful hair ties in the dollar-bins section at Target a couple of weeks ago and V loves to wear them.

This Halloween her costume is Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”, and besides the red sparkly shoes, the red sparkly hair ribbons get the most attention.

Lucky for us, my mom is experimenting with crafts such as making bracelets, necklaces, and now hair ribbons too. I’ve got some of her bracelets in V’s Disney jewelry box in her room, and am looking forward to finding a pretty box for putting hair ribbons in V’s bathroom drawer. V is probably looking forward to it more than I am, though she doesn’t know it yet.

Those are gorgeous! Please tell your mom what a beautiful job she’s done! I know a 5-yr old who’d like one of those…
