Artist trading coins?

The term artist trading cards (ATCs) is pretty well known in the art and creative space. But have you heard of artist trading coins?

If you haven’t heard of them, they are basically very similar to the concept of a regular ATC (artist trade card). They are a piece of art, in this case collage with vintage elements, which are done in a round shape.

The diameter of the circle is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm). Collage something on the front. The theme is up to you. On the back, include your name, date, and where you are from. If you have a social media contact you’d like to add, feel free to do so.

I used a die-cutting tool to cut out a circle from a cereal box. I used some shiny gold washi tape, and gold ink around the edges in these examples.

And they awesome? Don’t you just want to start on a bunch right now? I know I do! πŸ˜‰
